I've been wanting a pair of really ripped jeans for some time. I also wanted a light wash for summer! When I saw these ones at Zara, the buy was a no brainer...

Around Meat Packing I gave them a whirl with 3.1 Philip Lim sweater, Jill Sander belt, All Saints boots, Chanel bag, and leather jacket (from Rome).

Chinatown Dim Sum

Sunday was the perfect day to meet a friend in Chinatown for some Dim Sum. I did some Zagat research to find the highest rated Dim Sum place in Chinatown and came across Nom Wah Tea Parlor on Doyers St. We decided to give it a try and ended up in the longest wait for Dim Sum known to man...1.5 hours. That's like all day in Dim Sum time...given your food arrives instantly and it takes less than 15min to eat before some Asian lady is hustling you out the door. We stuck it out and it was TOTALLY worth it. Amazing Dim Sum...the best I've had in NYC. Go late...by 2pm the crowd had died down. Good Times.

Falling in Love

Marchesa...ohhh Marchesa. I watched the runway show (http://www.marchesa.com/) on the website and fell in love. Hard.

Burgundy and Chartreuse

Happy Friday! Headed out to meet some girlfriends for dinner at Hudson Clearwater (The Dutchess cocktail is absolute perfection) I threw on this Chartreuse silk blouse from Madewell, white J Brand jeans, floral H&M Conscious Collection heels, burgundy Madewell scarf, Hermes Lindy bag, Facial Index glasses, and Satya earrings. I'm loving that ankle strap heels are back and even more excited to start bringing white (my favorite color) back into everyday dressing. Now...if only I could get away with throwing my hair in a bun everyday. :)

Drop the G...

I spent the weekend in Gstaad as a date of a friend who was a groomsman in a wedding. I have to say it was one of the most interesting and fun wedding weekends I've been to and the town of Gstaad is absolutely adorable! It was a full-on Swiss experience complete with skiing (duh), yodelers, fondue, alpine horn players, and more cheese and wine than is normal for a human to consume in 72 hours. Such a fun time!! ...okay now I'm going to need to detox. :)

Why does every meal consist of cheese, bread, potatoes, and wine...again, detox needed.

London Town

After a whirlwind 10 days in Miami, NYC, Gstaad, London, and now back in NYC it feels good to be home.

Yesterday, I spent the day as a London tourist starting with Egg's Benedict for breakfast in Chelsea, a tour at Parliament by the lovely Ceci, and took a spin on the London Eye. The weather was perfect so I threw on my 3.1 Philip Lim sweater, J Brand jeans, Frye boots, Dita sunglasses, and Repossi ring. More travel pic's to come later this week!

Doing Miami

I headed down to Miami this weekend with fabulous girlfriends for a sun-filled bachelorette party. The 84 degree weather was amazing and we had a blast! Headed out for dinner at Prime Italian I pulled out this Herve Leger skirt, silk Club Monaco tank, and Zara heels. Happy Monday!

I think I'm hallucinating...

...Gaia Repossi for Zadig and Voltaire!?!! I wasn't. It's true, my FAVORITE jewelry house and most fabulous Parisian paired up with Zadig and Voltaire to offer up some creations that are completely must-have amazingness (and actually attainable). I pushed the "purchase now" button on Net-A-Porter.com before I could even collect my thoughts as to "what size ring do I take?" This is a very very good day. Thank you fashion gods.
